Jon Jennings– Founder / Managing Partner

Jon Jennings is Founder and Managing Partner of Jennings Executive Search.   He began his career with a boutique recruiting firm, building relationships with C-Level accounting and finance professionals utilizing a research-based approach of study and analysis to best serve his clients.   In 2012, Jon took this approach to a larger firm where he worked with several CFOs to build entire accounting departments and gain a large firm perspective in how to build a successful practice.

This experience led to the creation of Jennings Executive Search in April of 2014.  Upon founding the company, Jon set out to provide a level of service, creativity, and diligence that traditionally can only be found within select retained firms, all while utilizing a contingent pricing model.  This has laid the foundation for success working with accounting and financial professionals across multiple industries.
Jon graduated with a Bachelor in Accountancy and Minor in Finance from the University of Mississippi.

Brian Gelfand– Partner

Brian Gelfand is a Partner at Jennings Executive Search.  He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in audit and enterprise risk services with a focus in the financial services and real estate industries.  At Deloitte, Brian worked mainly with two clients: 1) A multibillion-dollar public mortgage servicing corporation, and 2) A not-for-profit foundation with $10 billion in assets. Brian has passed all four sections of the CPA exam on his first attempt.  He joined Jennings Executive Search as Managing Associate in 2015 and earned Partner status in 2018.
Brian’s education includes a Master of Accountancy from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia College & State University.

Justin Graves – Account Manager

Justin Graves serves as an Account Manager with Jennings Executive Search.  A graduate from Oglethorpe University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy.

Dan Sheedy– Principal

Dan Sheedy is a Principal at Jennings Executive Search. He brings more than 25 years of extensive business management experience, having served in roles as a Senior Portfolio Manager, Director of Marketing, and Director of Capital Markets for organizations including JP Morgan, Sanford C. Berstein, Rochdale Investment Management and GWG Life. Additionally, he started the US operations for an international search firm. This broad knowledge of finance/accounting, talent development, recruiting and compensation allows Dan to play an important advisory role with C- level executives and HR talent leaders across industries and geographies. Dan has is also a trained co-active coach, focusing on leadership development and career transition. He received his training at The Coaches Training Institute and is also accredited as an ACC with the International Coach Federation and certified in the CCL -360 Benchmark Assessment.
Dan’s education includes a Master of Business Administration in Management from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University.
